Ever since Meghan Markle started dating royalty, changes have been made on the set of her USA Network show, "Suits." An insider revealed the production had to beef up security for the actress, who plays a supporting role on the show.
Because "Suits" spoilers, details and photos leak out to fans for the last six season, everyone on the set was given warnings they could lose their jobs if there will be leaks this time around. Meghan Markle's name was also no longer added to the shooting schedules to protect her privacy, an insider told Us Weekly.
'Suits' cast and crew understands
Fortunately, the cast and crew are complying and have been understanding of Meghan Markle's situation. An insider said no one thinks she's acting like a pampered princess but rather, her privacy needs to be respected.
The insider also said the actress wouldn't likely be on the set for much longer anyway as she could end up getting married to Prince Harry. "No one gets the impression she’s staying on the show," the insider revealed.
Engagement to Prince Harry
Meghan Markle's relationship with Prince Harry hasn't reached a year, but sources believe he will propose to her soon, especially if the couple is attending the wedding of Kate Middleton's sister, Pippa, this Saturday.
"Everyone gets more romantic when they attend a wedding, and I'm sure Harry and Meghan will feel it too," an NBC News royal editor revealed.
Prince Harry has also already introduced his actress-girlfriend to his brother, Prince William, and Kate. Another source also said Prince Harry received the Queen's approval to propose to his girlfriend.
Preparing for royalty
There are other indications Meghan Markle could be preparing for life as a royal, apart from the assumption she's leaving her drama series soon. The actress recently shut down her blog, The Tig, and has also stopped posting images on her Instagram. This indicated she's on her way to giving up her public life as an actress for a more discreet royal life.
There are, however, questions as to whether or not she can actually marry into royalty because she's an American divorcee. Sources disclosed this is not an issue at the Palace and Prince Harry could marry whomever he wants.
Markle married Trevor Engelson in 2012 and divorced him after 18 months. She also dated Canadian chef Cory Vitiello before meeting Harry.
Prince Harry met Meghan Markle through their common friend Markus Anderson. The two had a trans-Atlantic courtship for months before the public got wind of their romance.
