A new “Pokémon GO” update is in the works. Niantic, the company in charge of this app, has begun work on a new update, which brings new improvements related to the evolution of Pokémon of the second generation. According to the leaked information, with these new improvements, players will be able to continue with their missions and catch their favorite Pokémon around the world easier, no matter their location.

Good news for players in the United States

John Hanke, founder and current CEO of Niantic, Inc, revealed that all players in the United States will be surprised and very happy with the new update.

The company is finally ready to make it easier for a certain category of players to actually have a chance to get all the existing Pokémon, especially those creatures that players have been trying to catch, but have been unable to due to location.

New changes in certain areas for catching Pokémon

According to the leaked information, Niantic has made some interesting new changes in the rural and suburban areas, so that users will be able to find new spawn locations. However, these new improvements will be available only to players in the United States. It should be mentioned that players who live in places where there are few Pokestops and Pokemon Gyms will experience a significant increase of 10% to 15% in terms of spawn rate.

Additional information

Regular locations will not receive significant changes, however, players will have more opportunities to catch their favorite creatures and get new evolutions, because Niantic will increase the presence of Pokémon in those areas, so the chances of catching certain Pokémon in rural areas will increase significantly, at least in the United States.

Pokémon will also stay in those rural and suburban areas for 30 to 60 minutes, giving players more opportunities to catch them. It is worth to noting that Niantic and McDonald's are organizing a special "Golden Week" event, which will bring new options and exciting new features as well.

This is all the information known so far. Keep enjoying the game, and stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
