“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is one of the most popular movies of all-time, and with good reason. The film mimicked the previous films in more ways than one, and even features a villain going through a personal crisis similar to Darth Vader. The villain in question is none other than Kylo Ren, the son of Leia and Han Solo.

Kylo baby name is growing fast

Apparently, parents in the United States are so in love with the character that many have decided to give their children the same name.

According to the latest report, the name “Kylo” is now one of the fastest growing Baby Names for boys within the country. The name saw a huge increase from 2015 to 2016, which is not surprising. We should point out that in 2015, the named ranked 3,269, but things quickly changed in 2016. For some reason, it jumped to 901 on the ranking scale, which is quite a big jump. Strangely enough, the name is close to surpassing Kylo Ren’s real name, Ben. Yes, Ben Solo was his name before turning to the dark side.

Popularity of Kylo will only increase

The character is set to appear as the main antagonist yet again in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Many fans expect the movie to pick up close to where "Force Awakens" ended, but from there, no one is fully certain of what’s going to happen.

From the recently released teaser trailer, it would seem as though Luke Skywalker wants to put an end to the Jedi order. His reason for wanting to venture down this path is unclear, but it must have been a difficult decision to make. Many fans can only speculate and hope that Luke Skywalker is not on a mission to kill himself, as the Jedi order ends with him unless he decides to recruit an apprentice and get things going again. But, from the way his character looked in the trailer, it seems as though, ultimately, Luke has no intention of changing his mind.

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is set to hit theaters on December 15, 2017. From there, fans should keep an eye out for a Star Wars movie every year for the foreseeable future.
