Mariah Carey is always in the news for something. The most recent news is that she reportedly is ready to launch a beauty company to be based in Beverly Hills, California. However, this project is not hers alone. The 47-year-old singer has a partner. The report is that Carey will go into business with her longtime manager, Stella Bulochnikov, to sell their own makeup, skin care and fragrances.

A beauty company

The two women were spotted in Beverly Hills looking for retail space for their business. They hope to have everything ready by the end of the year or the beginning of next year.

Carey has always been admired for her glowing complexion.

This is not the first time Carey tried to get into the beauty and fashion business. She did so in 2007. Since then, she has been trying to make a go of featuring other items such as shoes, jewelry, and fragrances on HSN. She also released jewelry and accessories in her Glamorized line. Last Christmas, she launched a makeup collection with MAC Cosmetics.

Other news

Other than looking for a building for a beauty company, Mariah is in the news for reportedly having resumed things with her backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka. TMZ reported that they split last month, but they are back together again and were seen displaying affection in public as usual at a club in West Hollywood last Thursday.

The alleged reason for the split was that the 34-year-old dancer was jealous of Mariah's close relationship with her ex-husband Nick Cannon.

When Cannon was a guest on the "Wendy Williams" show last month, he said he and Mariah will always be friends, and he supports her in whatever she does. Besides, they have six-year-old fraternal twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

They always spend family time together on birthdays and holidays. That's something Tanaka will just have to live with because Mariah and Nick are on friendly terms even though they are divorced.

There have been rumors that Nick and Mariah might get back together, but Nick says he remembers why they separated in the first place.

Therefore, it is unlikely that they will get back together. Both of them go their separate ways except when it comes to their children. Mariah was engaged briefly to Australian billionaire James Packer, and Nick had a baby boy named Golden "Sagon" Cannon with Brittany Bell on February 21, 2017.

To stop the rumors, Nick said they are not together as a couple but as the parents of their children. Mariah said something similar, which should hopefully squash the rumors.
