luann de lesseps fell head over heels in love with Thomas D'Agostino last year when she was filming "The Real Housewives of New York." She started dating him even though two of her friends and co-stars had previously dated him.

While Ramona Singer had gone on a few dates with him, Sonja Morgan had slept with him throughout several years, as they had a "friends with benefits" relationship. But de Lesseps didn't care about his life prior to her and she moved ahead with full steam. Within months they were engaged and they got married this past December.

According to a new Bravo report, Luann de Lesseps is now revealing that she's surprised and saddened by the fact that some of her friends were questioning her decisions prior to the wedding. While filming "The Real Housewives of New York," Luann was planning her wedding and she was surprised to learn that her friends were speaking behind her back.

If it wasn't for the microphone that Bravo had planted on the ladies, she wouldn't have known that a so-called friend was speaking negatively about her behind her back.

Luann de Lesseps sad to learn people were speaking about her behind her back

In her Bravo blog for "The Real Housewives of New York," Luann de Lesseps revealed that she was surprised to learn that her so-called friend, Barbara K., was caught speaking about her behind her back.

Barbara said that Luann would much rather go through with the wedding and get a divorce than call off the entire wedding before it even happens. And Luann was shocked to hear this, as Barbara had said yes to come to the nuptials.

"I never would have invited her had I known how she really felt about Tom and me. #GirlCode? You can tell by the smile on my face that I've got nothing to prove and everything to look forward to," Luann de Lesseps explains in her blog for Bravo, revealing that she never would have extended an invitation to Barbara if she knew what her "friend" was saying behind her back.

And the two are indeed married today and she can't stop gushing about their relationship. As she pointed out on the show, she's living in his penthouse apartment and life is good.
