Donald Trump has made venting on Twitter a part of his daily routine, but his behavior often results in critics responding to his tirades. The latest high-profiled name to hit back at the president is actor George Takei, who also found a way to target the first daughter in the process.

Takei on Trump

It's no secret that Donald Trump isn't on the same page as most of the stars out in Hollywood, and the rift between both sides has only gotten worse since Election Day. During the 2016 presidential election, the former host of "The Apprentice" made it a habit to take out his frustrations on social media, with celebrities often being a top target.

From Arnold Schwarzenegger, to Alec Baldwin, and even to the cast of the musical "Hamilton," the president has made it clear that he isn't above firing back at those who attack him. However, since his inauguration back in January, Trump has backed off slightly in regards to responding to his celebrity critics, but that hasn't stopped them from sounding off. As seen on his Twitter account on May 3, George Takei took several shots at the president, as well as First Daughter Ivanka Trump.

In a series of Twitter posts on Wednesday night, George Takei did his best to call out Donald Trump for his actions in the White House.

"So, Donald Trump has gone from 'I alone can fix it' to 'I thought it would be easier.'" Takei tweeted out in reference to the president's recent remarks.

"FBI's Comey to testify on #RussiaGate, so Trump readies anti-LGBT Exec Order for same day as a diversion.

Needs overhead for transparency," George Takei wrote on Twitter. "Donald says Middle East peace is '"not as difficult as people have thought.' He can't even negotiate a policy win with his own party in power," he added in a follow-up tweet.

Targeting Ivanka

While George Takei has made his thoughts known about Donald Trump, he also made sure to include president's daughter in his attack.

"If Donald signs 'religious liberty' executive order and exits the Paris climate accord, gotta ask, Ivanka, what have you done for us lately?" Takei wondered.

Takei on health care

"Tomorrow the House will vote on Trumpcare, and Twitler will issue a license to discriminate against LGBTs. Are you ready to fill town halls?" George Takei wrote in yet another post on Twitter. The former "Star Trek" actor continued, putting the focus not just on the president, but also the entire Republican Party.

"The GOP would approve Trumpcare before its cost are calculated by the CBO.

It's not only morally reprehensible, it's fiscally irresponsible," he wrote. Takei wrapped up his tweet-storm against the commander in chief by highlighting health care, and he's likely to continue as time goes on.
