No doubt, “Wonder Woman” is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Earlier this month, the movie ticket service Fandango surveyed moviegoers about the upcoming blockbusters, and Gal Gadot-starred “Wonder Woman” topped the list. “Spider-Man: Homecoming” comes in the second place, while “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” “The Dark Tower,” and “Dunkirk” have secured third, fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

Forbes believes that Harry Styles-starred “Dunkirk” will break the records of previous blockbusters as the movie has a lot of amazing visual effects and excellent star cast.

Still, “Dunkirk” has failed to reach the mark of “Wonder Woman.”

Fandango surveys about the movie

In the first week of May 2017, Fandango invited several youngsters to participate in a survey. They were provided with a questionnaire; and of these, 91% voted for the standalone superhero movie, calling it the most anticipated Hollywood film this summer.

Wonder Woman” is not the only female superhero movie that is being talked about; Hollywood filmmakers presented “The Avengers” and “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” that featured the famous characters like Black Widow and Catwoman. We have yet to see how Gal Gadot in “Wonder Woman” manages to impress the audiences and critics.

The film wins the title of being most anticipated

As the film has won the big prize of being the most anticipated movie, we have high expectations and wish Gal Gadot good luck. The first round of tracking predicts that the film will gross over $69 million in its opening weekend, but some critics say that “Wonder Woman” will make something from $80 to $90 million as the movie has received good ratings both on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic.

The Fandango sales are besting “Captain America: The First Avenger,” but this film opened with $60 million back in 2011. One of the biggest advantages that “Wonder Woman” has is that the audiences of this movie will range from 18 to 45 years, which means the movie has high chances to achieve success.

The world premiere of this film took place on May 15, 2017, in Shanghai, while the movie is scheduled to be released in Canada and the United States on June 2, 2017.

It will hit in IMAX and features Gal Gadot, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, and Chris Pine in the leading characters. Gal Gadot said in a statement to Forbes that she had played Diana Princess, a woman with lots of strength and power. Diana is courageous, hard-working, talented, and brave, and knows how to defeat the rivals on the battlefield.
