Just when everyone thought that they have seen the last of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna of Arendelle, Disney shared that "Frozen 2" is happening soon! The popular animated movie's producer promises that the second installment will not disappoint. However, whispers and speculation suggest that it will not be all rainbows and butterflies in the much-awaited sequel.

“We’re working hard on it,” “Frozen 2” producer Peter Del Vecho told Entertainment Weekly.

“We’re in the development writing process and are very excited by it. Like all movies, it will evolve.” He then added that the sequel will give more clarity in terms of what happened in the first film. “Now that we’ve been involved in it for a while, what’s exciting is it feels like it builds on the first movie,” he noted. “You understand things better in the first movie after you’ve seen the sequel.”

Will 'Frozen 2' satisfy the expectations of the fans?

"Frozen" became an instant hit after it was released back in 2013. The Disney film had a different concept than the usual storyline of a Prince saving a Princess.

The animated movie showed the love of two sisters for each other that helped break the spell and melted everyone's hearts.

Elsa gets a new opponent in 'Frozen 2'?

There was also a twist in the story, where Prince Hans of the Southern Isles turned out to be a bad guy who only wanted to steal Elsa’s throne. With that unexpected twist, many believe that “Frozen 2” will also have a jaw-dropping scene. A report claims that there will be a new villain in the sequel, this time, though, it’s Elsa’s younger sister herself, Anna!

With Elsa having ice super powers, it is expected that Anna will have fire. Although the idea is already creating buzz, this merely rumor for now. In the meantime, fans can keep guessing as to what will happen in “Frozen 2” while waiting for its premiere on November 27, 2019.

Idina Menzel, who voiced Queen Elsa, has previously revealed that she may still be a part of the second installment. "We are at story writing and they're working on it and I think I'm in it," she told E! News at the time. "That's all I know — unless maybe Elsa falls off an ice cliff and she dies in the first five minutes."
