After her successful stint in “Dance Moms” and other dance competition shows, Abby Lee Miller is now getting nothing but bad luck. The Lifetime show’s resident dance mentor was just recently sentenced to one year imprisonment after pleading guilty to fraud and money laundering. While the news may be devastating to her family and friends, there are two people who are celebrating her upcoming jail time.
Abby Lee Miller is not exactly best of friends with Christi Lukasiak and Kelly Hyland. These two dance moms were known for talking back to the 50-year-old dance instructor, choreographer, and director when they felt that she was crossing the line.
While the other moms were biting their tongues to avoid conflict, Chloe Lukasiak, Brooke and Paige Hyland’s moms were not slow to start fights with Miller.
'Dance Moms' teacher finally faces her sentence
Unfortunately for Christi Lukasiak and Kelly Hyland, their efforts to defend their children have always resulted in their kids being at the bottom of the pyramid and just put a target on their backs. No matter how good Chloe Lukasiak, Brooke and Paige Hyland performances were, Abby Lee Miller will always found fault to make an excuse to yell at them as her punishment for the behavior of their mothers.
These back and forth arguments between Miller Christi Lukasiak and Kelly Hyland, reached boiling point when things finally got out of control.
Christi and Chloe Lukasiak left “Dance Moms” season 4 after the famously tough teacher mocked the “Cowgirl’s Story” actress for having a “lazy eye,” and Kelly, Brooke and Paige Hyland exited the show after the 45-year-old mom slapped Miller. That lead to some charges.
Christi & Kelly satisfied with Miller's sentence
After all these years, Christi Lukasiak and Kelly Hyland proved that they are still not over Miller’s rude behavior towards them and their children.
The moms attended the court hearing on Tuesday to support the prosecutors. After finding out that the “Dance Moms” mentor was ordered to serve one-year in prison, Christi, Kelly, and another dance mom who had a fight with Miller in season 1, Minister Dawn, gathered to celebrate the sentence with a glass of champagne.

Meanwhile, Abby Lee Miller broke her silence after being sentenced and shared how she's going to deal with it. "I’m just going to pretend that I am shooting a movie, and we’re on set, and I am there for 10 months, and that’s the way it’s gonna be," the "Dance Moms" star told Good Morning America.
