bethenny frankel is a very strong woman, and she's proven herself over and over again on “The Real Housewives of New York.” While some of her co-stars think that she's a great friend who is just strong-minded, others believe that she's very cold and she's hard to really get to know.
Frankel has revealed that she does have some childhood issues that are plaguing her and one can imagine that she does have some trust issues from her divorce. So when newcomer, Tinsley Mortimer, revealed that she thought Bethenny had been cold and had been hard to get to know, Frankel responded by saying that she doesn't open up to people easily, simply because they think they know her.
Did Tinsley send the wrong message to Frankel?
People at home often think that they know these reality stars inside out because what they've been seeing on television for the past ten years. But Bethenny reveals that this is not always the case. For example, in her case, she's only been showing her interactions with the other ladies and some of her time working on her business.
But there's a huge part of her life that she doesn't share on the show, which is her relationship with her daughter Bryn. In addition to this, Bethenny Frankel may only choose to share certain things on the show for the sake of entertainment. In other words, just because she's on a reality show doesn't mean that this is 100% her life.
This week, Bethenny Frankel opened up to Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” in regards to how Tinsley Mortimer had described Bethenny. Frankel learned that Tinsley had thought she was a bit cold when they first met.
Frankel explains that some people come on the show thinking that they're going to bond with her, only to learn that they actually know very little about her.
She explains that Tinsley may have had the same approach, which is why she was just friendly when they met for the first time.

On the “The Real Housewives of New York,” Frankel has revealed that her divorce from Jason has turned into a complete nightmare. She used to gush about how perfect the relationship was, and now it's the divorce from hell.
They can barely get along, and he was charged with harassing her earlier this year. While she just wants to move on, it is hard for her to do so and her wall maybe coming up even though it's with Tinsley.
