A non-blood reunion

In the latter part of the trailer, Luke (Mark Hamill) can be heard saying that “it was time for the Jedi to end.” Some say that he now has a psychological problem after all that he has been through.

It has been known that he is now living alone on the planet of Ahch-To for a long while after Ben Solo turned to the dark side. Here, Rey (Daisy Ridley) found him at the end of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

Fans are now waiting how will “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will feature the dynamics of Rey and Luke. To recall, it is not only the young scavenger the Jedi master will work with. In fact, she was accompanied by Chewbacca and R2-D2 when they visited the planet to meet him again. Hence, Screen Rant predicted that there will be a reunion happening in “Star Wars: Episode 8.”

Making Star Wars reported that Luke will be having a “rather emotional” storyline in the upcoming movie. But, it is also going to have a “beautiful moment” since he will have the chance to meeting his old pals again, although he doesn’t have the chance to be reunited with Han Solo (Harrison Ford).

It is also not yet known if she is going to meet his twin sister Leia (Carrie Fisher), but some are hoping that there will be a family reunion happening. There are reports that Rey will be the way that will bring the “non-blood family” reunited after Han’s death. Hence, she might, too, manage to encourage him to join the fight against the First Order.

Chewie’s light scene

Meanwhile, Chewbacca’s journey to Ahch-To gave him a lot of healing. He doesn’t just have the chance to see Luke again, but he also manages to meet new friends with Porgs, the planet’s bird-like creatures. As a matter of fact in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” fans will see him in a touching moment with the newly hatched baby Porgs.

Although the movie is said to be darker compared to its predecessors, director Rian Johnson didn’t forget to include light scenes with Chewie in it. This Christmas, the epic movie’s followers will finally get to see “Star Wars: Episode 8” on Dec. 13.
