Recently, we got the new, official spoiler intel for the upcoming "Riverdale" episode 10 of season 1 in from The CW folks. They really gave us quite a bit of storyline scoops for this one. It turns out that we're going to see Fred make the decision to finalize the divorce from Mary. Archie tries to plot out a very romantic evening for Valerie, but Marry, apparently, throws a wrench in that scheme with her birthday party plans, and more.

It's "The Lost Weekend"

We also got a title for this one. They've named it: "Chapter Ten: The Lost Weekend." In their official description, they reveal that things just aren't going to work out between Archie's mother, Mary (guest star: Mary Ringwald), and Fred as they tell us that Fred is going to go ahead and decide to finalize their divorce.

In light of this, Archie will hide his true feelings.

Surprise birthday bash

Next, we learn that Archie is going to attempt to win back Valerie with some very romantic plans for the evening. Unfortunately, we're going to see them get thwarted by some plans that Betty has cooked up,because she will be throwing Jughead a surprise birthday party. Will Archie ever get another shot to win Valerie back? Or will this be it? It'll be interesting to see if he gives it another shot.

Cheryl sends it out of control

In the 3rd storyline scoop, we learn that Cheryl is going to get involved when she finds out about the big party bash. They tell us that she's going to decide to make things a little more interesting, which will end up, causing things to totally spiral out of control at a rapid pace!

What the hell is she going to pull? How much trouble will she cause? Those are the big questions for this storyline. Unfortunately, they didn't elaborate on exactly what she does, so it looks like we'll have to wait until this one airs, to get that intel.

Veronica contemplates

In this last storyline reveal, they let us know that we're going to see Veronica in action.

Apparently, she'll be going back in forth in her mind about whether or not she should go ahead and participate in the deposition that could possibly help get her dad released. The obvious questions, here, is: will she decide to go ahead and do it? Or will she just stay out of it? What we do know, is that we'll also be seeing appearances from Madchen Amick aka Alice Cooper and Marishol Nichols aka Hermione Lodge.

What will they be up to?

We'll have to tune in to find out, because they offered up absolutely no description for what they'll be doing in this episode. They just literally said, they'll be in it. We've also got some production credits that reveal, this installment was directed by Dawn Wilkinson, and the writing team of: Britta Lundin & Brian E. Paterson delivered the script.

The press release also confirmed that this episode is due out next Thursday night, April 13th,2017 at 8pm central standard time on The CW. Stay tuned.
