"Dancing With The Stars" season 24 remaining celebrities get to live a fairy tale as "Disney Night" takes over the show on Monday, April 17. The nine celebrities left will be Disney princes and princesses for a day as the competition pays tribute to some of the most magical films and TV show characters. The "DWTS" episode will be packed with a lot of surprises -- from new song releases to Disney characters gracing the stage. Here's a complete lowdown on what to expect on Monday.
Disney reveals new 'Cars 3' song on DWTS season 24
The night is expected to be of one of the most watched episodes of the season as the celebrities get jiggy on the dance floor to some of the most popular Disney songs.
And while it will be a nostalgia-filled episode, a new tune will be playing for the night. According to an official press release, ABC confirmed the world television debut of "Ride" from the "Cars 3" soundtrack. David Ross and Lindsay Arnold will be dancing the Jive to the new tune. "cars 3" release date is set for June 16.
Additionally, DWTS season 24 favorite Simon Biles and Sasha Farber will be dancing a contemporary routine while Auli'i Cravalho sings the Oscar-nominated hit "How Far I'll Go" from "Moana."
The night will kick off with an opening number by Alfonso Ribeiro (“Dancing with the Stars” season 19 winner), as he sings and dances with the entire cast to an original song.
