Marvel's Iron Fist will soon debut on Netflix on March 17, 2017. If you want to prepare for the new martial arts superhero show, then here is a list of three shows to watch right now on Netflix to prepare for the newest debut from the partnership between Marvel and Netflix.

A whole new kind of hero

Daredevil” starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Deborah Ann Woll, has been a critically acclaimed hit since the show debuted in 2015. The show follows Cox as the main character, Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer in Hell's Kitchen, who fights criminals at night as a masked vigilante.

Everybody in the cast is superbly plucked for their roles and the side characters from the two seasons of the show available will be making cameo appearances in “Iron Fist.”

Try to get on her good side

Jessica Jonesstarring Krysten Ritter, Rachael Taylor, and David Tennant, was a very noir style drama for Netflix and the theme paid off. The entire show was solidly laced up from story to character details. Ritter shines as Jessica Jones, a private investigator who has super powers, but makes no attempt to show off her super-powered abilities. Luke Cage also makes a significant cameo on the show, which ties heavily into his origin story on his own show.

Be careful about shaking his hand

Luke Cage,” starring Mike Colter, Simone Missick, and Theo Rossi, made a huge impact upon arrival.

The show features Colter as super-human Luke Cage who is intent on cleaning up Harlem with one broken face at a time. “Luke Cage” is a mixture of films from the seventies and gritty crime dramas from the modern era like “Sopranos” or “The Wire.” The show has a lot of good drama with moments that are truly insightful and a large number of side characters from “Daredevil” appeared in the first season, including a resilient nurse that fans will remember.

More cameos!

These are the three shows you should watch to catch up on the story of the world that “Ironfist” is getting ready to debut in. There are already confirmed reports of significant cameos in the show of side characters from all three other shows. However, fans are still wondering if Luke Cage will show up in the first season at all.

In the comics, Luke Cage and Danny Rand form a long lasting friendship, so we might finally get to see the inception of their partnership on the new show. Moreover, fans are hoping for a Daredevil crossover with the martial arts nature of the new show.

Defending the world from evil!

All of these appearances are very likely, so make sure to catch up before the big premiere of the newest Netflix original from Marvel. “Jessica Jones,” “Daredevil,” and “Luke Cage” are all currently available on Netflix and the new “Iron Fist” show premieres on March 17, 2017 so there is still time to binge watch to catch up for the big debut! After “Iron Fist” is released, Netflix will be planning to produce the long talked about “Defenders” show which would feature aspects of all four shows.
