Selena Gomez made an unexpected visit to a High School in L.A. with the members of Step Up Foundation and The Coach Foundation to embolden young students to reach one's potential. It's important to make people believe they can do anything they want if they put their minds into it and put themselves first, every once in awhile. Today's young people are so taken over by superficial things that it is hard to focus on something bigger than that.
Loving yourself is the most important thing you'll ever do
Selena Gomez has always been known for standing up for what she believed in - and she's always believed that loving yourself first is the most important thing.
Therefore, the positive attitude is followed by a happy and fulfilling life. She noted that working with the young woman she met that day was an inspirational experience and that she'll never forget it.
Gomez partnered with a positive organization that's being held responsible for working with young girls in an after-school program and that way they celebrated The World Kindness Day - spreading a positive message and positive emotions towards everybody, especially ourselves. Selena feels that the social media should be blamed for giving the courage to the "haters." saying that in the end they are just haters and we should not dedicate much attention to them.
Focusing on things that are important to her
The famous singer mentioned that she's putting a pause on her singing career and taking time for the things that are also important to her. “I’m taking the time to have a personal life,” she said. “I’m doing things that I love, that I’m passionate about, that I care about…it just makes me happy.”
This kind of a role model is much needed by young girls all around the world to show them how important self-confidence is and also loving yourself with all your virtues and imperfections.
The young lady is taking the full responsibility for every action in her life, not matter how successful or not. We're happy to see that there are still inspiring young people that do not only worry about fame and doing non-moral things just to impress and get in the spotlight.
