It turns out that a judge is siding with Apollo Nida, who challenged the divorce filing that Phaedra had filed. Initially, he complained that she intentionally misspelled her last name (and his) in the filing, rendering it null and void. On top of that, Apollo was disputing the divorce settlement with claims that it was unfair to him.

When Season 9 of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" started airing, it really looked like Apollo was trying to pretend he didn't know what was going on when he really did. Now it's a lot more understandable why Apollo filed for divorce himself when he was blasted for doing it because, as Phaedra said, the divorce had already been filed and taken care of.
Not only was that misinformation but it's not even possible. It's hard to believe that Phaedra didn't know all of these issues may come up, considering that she is an attorney herself. Despite all this "RHOA" foolishness, it looks like if Apollo Nida wants to marry Sherien Almufti before he gets out of prison, the pair will have to wait just a bit longer while he works out the details of his real divorce from Phaedra Parks.
