Jacqueline Laurita has been featured on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" since the show began airing in 2009, but according to a new report, she will not be featured on the upcoming season of the show, nor will her co-star and friend Kathy Wakile. While Bravo TV has remained silent in regard to the casting change, insiders claim Laurita turned down the network's alleged low-ball offer.

Earlier this week, an insider spoke to Page Six about the reported casting change, claiming the network failed to cough up as much per episode as Laurita was hoping for.

“She’s really highly paid,” the insider told the outlet. Once Laurita officially leaves her role on the show, Teresa Giuidice will be the final cast member remaining from season one.

As for Wakile, the cousin of Teresa Giudice, she has reportedly been left disappointed after Bravo TV chose to leave her out of the 8th season entirely. In past years, Wakile has starred in both a full-time role and a part-time role. While it wasn't discussed, Wakile's exit from the show will likely mean that her sister, Rosie Pierri, who has long been a favorite of fans, will also not be seen on season eight.

Jacqueline Laurita's role on 'RHONJ' has evolved

After appearing on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" for five seasons, Laurita's full-time role was taken away from the series.

Weeks later, after experiencing a drop in ratings, Bravo TV chose to bring her back to the show in a part-time role. The following year, Laurita's full-time role was reinstated as Dolores Cantina and Siggy Flicker joined the series for season seven.

Will Jacqueline Laurita be replaced by Danielle Staub?

According to Page Six, recent rumors suggested that Staub, one of the most controversial members of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," may be returning to the series for season eight.

That said, Staub's potential return has not been confirmed, nor have any members of the cast been slated for an official return to the reality series by Bravo TV. There's also no confirmed premiere date for season eight.
