Sunday's Iheartradio Music Awards come to viewers from The Forum in Inglewood, California. "American Idol" and "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve" host Ryan Seacrest will also handle the hosting duties for the fourth annual edition of this newer music awards show. A good number of major categories are on the schedule for the latest edition with hip-hop star Drake receiving the most nominations followed by The Chainsmokers. Here's a look at the upcoming show and how to watch the iHeartRadio Music Awards on TV or live streaming online as the show is presented.
Top nominees for 2017
Drake was the most nominated artist for the Grammy Awards and he holds that title for tonight's music awards shows as well. Drake was given a total of 12 nominations. Among Drake's nominations are Male Artist of the Year, Hip-Hop Artist of the Year and multiple nominations for his song "One Dance" in different categories. These include Song of the Year and Hip-Hop Song of the Year. Drake is also co-nominated with Rihanna for her song "Work" which the rap star appears on.
American DJ duo The Chainsmokers tallied 11 nominations at tonight's show including the coveted Song of the Year award for "Closer" which also features Halsey. In addition, other awards they're up for will include Best Duo/Group of the Year, Dance Artist of the Year, and Dance Song of the Year for "Don't Let Me Down" featuring Daya.
Other recording artists with multiple nominations at the iHeartMusic Awards tonight will include Twenty One Pilots, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and The Weekend.
How to watch live on TV or online
Tonight's iHeartRadio Music Awards will start up at 8 p.m. Eastern Time or 7 p.m. Pacific Time. Three different television channels will present the live coverage of the awards show: TBS, TNT and Tru TV, with live streaming available in several ways.
Cable and satellite subscribers with these channels included in their current service package may be able to head to the TNTDrama or TBS websites to log in and watch a live streaming feed.
