Eminem's new album could be dropping anytime this summer as reports confirm he will be headlining several music festivals this August. And where better to tease new music than at the biggest music events in the world -- Glasgow Summer Sessions, and Reading And Leeds 2017. Read on to know more about Eminem’s new music.

The Rap God may finally be releasing a new record four years after “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” dropped in 2013. While nothing has been confirmed about the album or its tracklist, Eminem has been dropping hints during interviews and on social media about his upcoming project.

Before 2016 ended, the rapper took to Twitter to confirm that he is indeed working on a new, still-untitled album.

As fans continue to salivate at the idea of new rap anthems from Eminem, the Detroit rapper is keeping his fans entertained with several performances across the globe including one of the biggest festivals in UK. It has just been announced that Eminem will be headlining the Glasgow Summer 2017 music festival on August 24.

“We’re delighted to announce that Eminem will be returning to play Glasgow Summer Sessions. His performance at Bellahouston Park in 2013 was spectacular, so I have no doubt this will be one of the gigs of the year,” Glasgow Summer Sessions organiser Geoff Ellis announced, notes NME.

It was also previously confirmed that he will be performing at Reading and Leeds 2017. The updates have left fans wondering whether the short tour would be Em’s platform for new music.

Eminem's new album and songs could premiere this August

It has somehow been a custom for artists to reveal teasers of their new songs at concert tours and performances.

Drake recently previewed a new and untitled track at an Amsterdam afterparty. Kanye West has also done the same in the past. This idea has fans hoping that Eminem will be no different, and would drop snippets -- if not the whole songs -- at either of his big ticket shows. His cult following are crossing their fingers that they’ll hear a few of Slim Shady’s new songs at Glasgow or Reading and Leeds.

So far, aside from his lengthy political rap rant, “Campaign Speech” released in time for the US Elections last year, there have been no music updates from Eminem. He did join the likes of Big Sean for a few features, but nothing substantial as of yet.

As talks of his new album continue to take over the Internet, fans will just have to wait and see whether Eminem will stick to his word that he is really “working on an album” and if this project will come to fruition any time soon.
