"Days Of Our Lives" fans will be thrilled to hear that some of their favorite former "Days" stars have reunited to work on a new project entitled: "Ladies of the Lake." The new project is headed exclusively to Amazon video and will feature former "Days" fan favorites including Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker,) Martha Madison (Belle Brady), Marie Wilson (Summer), John-Paul Lavoisier (Phillip), Wally Kurth (Justin), Patrika Darbo (Nancy), and Kyle Lowder (Brady).
New Amazon series 'Ladies of the Lake' could be the next big hit for soap fans
"Ladies of the Lake" is based on a Ken Corday novel.
Corday is the executive producer of "Days" so it makes perfect sense that he would head to some of his favorite former cast members to head up his new project. Fans have been hearing news abut the upcoming project since last spring and can now officially mark their calendars for May 15th when the show will debut on Amazon.
A disturbing new character hits Salem this week
The storyline of "Ladies of the Lake" will focus on the lives of a group of rich women who live in the gated community of Avalon. The women are drawn together after a series of horrifying events unfold involving them all -- Very "DOOL" meets "Desperate Housewives."
Each of the women will have one very important thing in common, all of their husbands are being murdered in a suspenseful thriller that will definitely be worth the watch.
As stated "Ladies of the Lake" will begin on May 15th so there is plenty of time for all "Days" die-hard fans to subscribe to Amazon before the show.
It should be very interesting to watch, and who knows? If it is a huge success we may just find some of the former "Days" faves with a full-time gig outside of Salem. As for daytime fans, things have certainly heated up for Salem residents.
As previously reported on BN a new character will be arriving later this week and he is a doozy.
Actor Robb Derringer will appear as the character of Scooter, who is described as being a sex addict. Scooter is the husband of Nicole's new neighbor, Hillary, played by Jennifer Landon. Soap fans may remember Robb, who appeared on "General Hospital" as the character of Sloane from 2014-2015.
How about it, "Days" fans? Does "Ladies of the Lake" sound like a show you could get hooked on?
