Sai Dharam following the routine commercial way

Sai Dharam Tej, the star kid, has been sticking to the commercial formula for the very beginning of his career, and he has followed the usual formula in "Winner" too. With horse racing as its backdrop, "Winner" is a pure commercial entertainer aimed at the common movie audiences who are fond of high-voltage action flicks.

Public response

The film begins with Rana Daggubati’s voice over about the influence of horse racing in a particular community.

Then, the director cleverly narrates the story of Jagapathi Babu which is quite emotional in nature. Later, Anasuya's character gets introduced, and a group of goons now abducts her. As expected, Sai Dharam's character entered the scene, and he trashes the goons to save the girl.

Soon, Sai falls in love with a girl, and to win her heart; he should win a horse race.

The remaining portions of the movie showcase Sai's journey of molding himself as a successful jockey. In the meantime, Sai faces a threat from the dreaded villain Thakur Anup Singh who is also aiming to marry Rakul.

Sai Dharam excels as an action icon

The movie belongs to Sai Dharam who pulled out the character of an aspiring jockey with ease.

He literally excelled in action scenes, and his performance in emotional sequences with Jagapathi Babu was outstanding. The remaining star cast too did their roles with finesse.
