That's unfortunately right, guys. Your favorite "Lucifer" show is apparently on the back burner for the next, nearly three months, so the new episode 14 of season 2 will not be shown tonight, and will actually require a lot of your patience, because it won't be ready until that magical Monday night, May 1st, 2017 at 8pm central time, so be sure to mark that date down on your TV schedules. As previously reported, I believe the reason for this long layoff, is because FOX came at them in October, ordering another 9 episodes. Originally, they only gave the show's 2nd season a 13 episode order.
So, it turns out that we're actually lucky that this is just a long break instead of it being the end of the season.
It's time for a new show introduction tonight
So, what will FOX be airing in Lucifer's vacant 8pm central time slot for the next three months? Well, if their new crime drama, APB, does well in the ratings, it'll be there until May rolls around. The new show will feature a tech tycoon that ends up, striking a deal to purchase a police precinct that's currently facing a ton of trouble and problems. In the midst of all that, the tycoon has big plans in store that will introduce some very cutting-edge, crime-fighting technology to the mix. So, it does sound pretty interesting on paper.
You guys might want to check that out to tide you over until Lucifer returns.
This one is "Candy Morningstar"
Ok, so now I do have some spoilery stuff for the upcoming episode 14, because FOX was kind enough to drop a promo/spoiler clip for the episode last week. We were also able to score a title from the show's Wikia page.
They're telling us that the producers are calling it: "Candy Morningstar." We've got some production credits to mention for this one. Jenn Kao penned the script, while all the directing duties were taken over by Claudia Yarmy.
Charlotte's very upset
Now, with no further ado, lets jump into this new clip they gave us. I posted it, below, for those of you that didn't get a chance to check it out yet.
In it, Chloe is spotted, trying to find Lucifer. She says that she went to his place, but he was gone. We see a scene where Charlotte is spotted, blaming herself for Lucifer's latest actions. Then the clip, caps off with Maze, saying that she bets Lucifer is busy, plotting out his revenge right now! It seems pretty intense, guys. Be sure to check it out, below, and stay tuned.
