Actress katherine heigl is now the proud mother of three children after she gave birth to her son in December, and she's sharing the precious moments with her fans. She has posted several shots of baby Joshua Bishop as he joins big sisters Naleigh and Adalaide. Heigl and her husband, Josh Kelley, adopted the girls— now 8 and 4 years old, respectively— before the couple conceived naturally.

Katherine Heigl and her love of family photos
The former "Grey's Anatomy" star isn't shy when it comes to posting photos of baby Joshua, but it's a recent picture that has her fans talking.
Katherine uploaded an impromptu family photo that features all three of her children and husband. She took to Facebook to share the image, saying they may use it for their Christmas card this year. "Everything about this impromptu family pic makes me laugh and laugh and laugh!!! We may have a 2017 Family Christmas card winner here people!"
The adorable moment features a candid look at the Heigl-Kelley family as is makeup-free and her kids make funny faces. Heigl's eldest daughter is seen with her hand partially blocking her little sister's face while their baby brother coos at the camera. It truly is one of the sweetest candid photos! But it's not the only time Katherine shared precious pics with her fans.
The actress embraces motherhood
Katherine and Josh first released photos of their new son in late January as they posed for People magazine. The exclusive photos show a smiling Heigl as she embraces postpartum life with her newborn. Katherine also posted the images on Instagram so her fans could get a glimpse of her newest addition as she stated how happy they are.
"We are all happy, healthy and beyond grateful!"
Heigl candidly discussed what life has been like since finding out she was expecting as she kept fans updated. She documented her pregnancy journey on her blog Those Heavenly Days, where she opens up about the ups and downs of motherhood. Her last post came on December 10, just 10 days before she gave birth, as she outlined her baby shower.
In the post, Heigl said she had a serious sweet tooth and was looking forward to the baby shower cake. "I’ve had quite the sweet tooth throughout this pregnancy so the cake was also pretty significant to me."
And she continues to open up about life after pregnancy as she interviews with magazines and shares loving family photos. During an interview with People magazine, Katherine said she would like to have more babies, whether it be by adoption or naturally if possible. “I still want more children. I’d get pregnant again, and I still am very inspired by adoption. I also have been thinking a lot about fostering.”
It seems fans can count on hearing a lot more about Katherine and her growing family as she continues to be candid about her kids.
