Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, whose hybrid name “Brangelina” includes the word “angel,” have fallen from media heaven onto an earthly reality. Apparently, the famous couple’s fall will not stop where it is at the moment but continue right into hell’s fire. Filmmaker Ian Halperin is reportedly producing a new tell-all documentary revealing the darkest secrets between Jolie and Pitt. The film is said to examine the secrets that occurred in the 12-year-marriage of Hollywood’s most glamorous couple.
The journey into Heaven
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt announced their engagement in April 2012 and got married in a fairy tale wedding at their estate Château Miraval in Correns, France, on August 23, 2014.
During their 12-year marriage, Jolie and Pitt dedicated their lives to their careers, their adopted children Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, and their own kids, 10-year-old Shiloh and eight-year-old twins, son Knox and daughter Vivienne.
Angelina Jolie, who publicly shared her health issues, gained worldwide respect by millions of women. On February 16, 2013, 37-year-old Jolie underwent a preventive double mastectomy after having discovered that she had an 87% risk of developing breast cancer.
Jolie’s mother had fought breast cancer and died from ovarian cancer like Jolie’s grandmother. In March 2015, after learning that she had a 50% risk of also developing ovarian cancer, Jolie had preventive oophorectomy (the surgical removal of both ovaries) which resulted in Jolie experiencing premature menopause.
The fall onto Earth
When Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt on September 19, 2016, the world was in shock. Jolie cited irreconcilable differences as the reason and asked for sole physical custody of the six children.
On September 15, just a few days prior to Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing, Brad and his adopted son Maddox had reportedly an altercation aboard the family’s private plane.
A subsequent investigation by the FBI and the Department of Children and Family Services cleared Pitt.
After four months of public turmoil, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt released a joint statement stating that they intend to handle the divorce proceedings in private. As of February 1, 2017, Brad Pitt feels confident that the legal battle about the custody of the children will be resolved.
The journey into Hell
In regard to the future, filmmaker Ian Halperin does not intend to leave “Brangelina” as is. Halperin’s tell-all documentary titled “Broken: The Incredible Story of Brangelina,” is planned to air worldwide.
Halperin,52, promises to reveal the darkest secret of Angelina Jolie, 41, and Brad Pitt,53. One of the bombshells included in the documentary is the couple’s alleged estrangement for more than a year before the September 2016 breakup.
Halperin’s big-budget film about “Brangelina” is reportedly including the most intimate details of the couple based on never-before-seen footage and interviews with both Brad and Angelina. Additional details included in “Broken: The Incredible Story of Brangelina” are supposed to reveal the couple’s true whereabouts, their court appearances, and their custody battle.
In 2010, Ian Halperin, a Canadian investigative journalist, made a documentary about Michael Jackson titled “Gone Too Soon.” Halperin based the documentary on 300 hours of recorded footage. His 2009 New York Times best-selling biographical book “Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson,” was published in July 2009, one month before Jackson’s death.
Ian Halperin never made it a secret that his book and film on Michael Jackson was based on immense insights resulting from interviews, thorough research, and intuition.
In regard to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, most readers will most likely have a similar feeling that there was more to the couple’s 12-year marriage and relationship than was previously reported in the media. However, how much of that secret life will be exposed in Halperin’s tell-all documentary about “Brangelina” remains to be seen.
