"The Young and the Restless" spoilers tease tense moments are ahead on the CBS soap opera. The fans have been waiting for Steve Burton's departure for several weeks now. And, it looks like we will finally see the end of his storyline in the coming weeks. A few days ago, Steve tweeted that he wasn't done on "Y&R" yet, and the fans can expect his final scene to air during the last week of January.

Sharon freaks out about Dylan's whereabouts

"The Young and the Restless" promo shows Dylan getting close and cozy with an unknown woman. According to Serial Scoop, Jessica Nicole Webb was cast as Alex and will be involved in Dylan's exit storyline.

In the promo, Dylan has facial hair and seems much more relaxed that we've ever seen on the CBS soap opera.

Sharon (Sharon Case) doesn't know that her husband is growing closer to a hot young police officer. All she knows is she doesn't know where he is and he's alone. Sharon marches into Paul's (Doug Davidson) office and demands to know where her husband is. As you can imagine, Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Paul aren't comfortable with giving out his location for fear she will blow the case right open.

Dylan's last scene will 'break your heart'

"The Young and the Restless" spoilers tease that Dylan's final scenes will be shocking, and will lead to some huge revelation.

Until the promo came out, the "Y&R" fans had no idea what type of admission could be coming out. Now, with the new woman on the scene, it looks like Dylan could decide to abandon his life with Sharon, especially considering how much heartache they have faced together.

With the information we have to go on, it seems possible that Dylan will tell Sharon he doesn't plan on coming home.

He likes the life he has with his new love interest and partner and wishes her well. We know Dylan doesn't die because Steve Burton claims they left the door open for him to return if he chose to down the road.

So, do you think Dylan will stay undercover and tell Sharon their marriage is over? Is it possible that he will be forced into the witness protection program after he solves the case?
