Hey, "Vikings" peeps. Yep it's finally the very last episode 20 of season 4, and we've got two interesting spoiler scoops for it from our trakt.tv source. It turns out that we're going to see Ecbert go ahead and lay back to work on his own plot. Elsewhere, the Vikings have a master plan in mind, and apparently, Prince Aethelwulf will get entangled in it, somehow.
They're trying to pull off something new
We've also been made aware of what the producers are naming this final episode of the season. They're calling it: "The Reckoning." With a title like that, you got to know some hardcore stuff is about to go down.
Lets go ahead and jump into this Prince Aethelwulf situation. It turns out that the Vikings will, indeed, have a master plan that they're about to try and execute, and they tell us that Prince Aethelwulf will find himself subject to it at some point.
Unfortunately, History Channel keeps their storyline reveals very short, so they don't go into detail about what the Vikings' big plan could be, or how they will implement Aethelwulf, so it's certainly going to be interesting to see how all that ends up, playing out. Will the big plan go off without a hitch? Or will they run into much turbulence? Hopefully, this finale episode will answer those questions, or we'll have to wait until season 5 starts up, which is definitely going to happen by the way.
Just a little renewal news for you.
He's up to something
Anyways, getting back to the synopsis, we've got this last scoop, which involves what Ecbert is going to be up to. It turns out that we're going to see him, decide to just stay behind while everyone else runs off to do their thing. Then while alone, Ecbert will get to work, plotting and cooking up a new, separate plan of his own.
Again, they kept this teaser nice, short and vague, so we didn't get any details about what he might be trying to pull off, but you better believe that'll be another big question mark that we want to see get answered, hopefully in this episode, if possible.
Alright, everyone. That's going to do it for our big finale scoop session.
Hopefully, we'll see a promo clip for it after episode 19 hits the airwaves later on tonight. You'll definitely want to look for that, because I'm very sure that it will reveal some extra intel about the finale, which we can also confirm is set to air next Wednesday night, February 1st, 2017 at 8pm central time. Stay tuned.
