Scheana Shay's split was far from civil -- at least according to the "Vanderpump Rules" star's latest interview. While Shay's marriage to Mike is intact during the currently airing episodes of the Bravo TV series, they ultimately parted ways at the end of last year, and soon, fans will see their relationship come to an end on the show.
At the time of their split, online rumors claimed Shay had possibly suffered a drug relapse after several months of sobriety, but because Mike denied the reports on his Instagram page, claiming he was sober and not missing, as was also reported, fans have wondered what really happened between them.
Then, after confirming her plans for divorce, Shay participated in a number of interviews and shed some light on their breakup.
In her latest interview, which took place this week on the Maria Menounos Podcast series, "Conversations with Maria Menounos," Shay opened up about her financial dispute with Mike. During the interview, Scheana Shay said her estranged husband was running up her credit card bills and taking money from their joint savings account during filming on "Vanderpump Rules" season five.
Scheana Shay was recently involved in a bridal shower dispute
As she and her co-stars attempted to plan Katie Maloney's pre-wedding festivities, Shay was privately dealing with her husband reportedly taking her money.
"So I can't afford to spend thousands of dollars on a bridal shower," she explained to Menounos. Even now, months after the scenes were taped, Scheana Shay is upset at how her marriage ended and claims the things Mike did to her will affect her for a long time. She even compared her feelings to the lyrics fro Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood."
Scheana Shay may be moving on from her marriage
As Shay's interview with Menounos continued, the host asked the reality star if she had begun to date after her split.
However, rather than be decisive, Shay gave a smile and said coyly, "Maybe."
To see more of Scheana Shay and her co-stars, including Mike, tune in to "Vanderpump Rules" season five, which airs every Monday at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
