Scheana Marie is ready to start her New Year and never look back. While celebrating New Year's Eve over the weekend, the "Vanderpump Rules" star posted a photo of herself with the middle-finger emoji and wished her fans and followers a Happy New Year.
As fans have seen on the Bravo TV show and in the headlines, the reality star and waitress had a very rocky 2016. At the beginning of the year, she and her now-estranged husband, Mike Shay, were seen feuding over his alleged use of prescription pills on season four. Then, by the middle of the year, they seemed to be on a better page and traveled to Hawaii to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
Scheana Marie's marriage ended during season five
Following their romantic vacation to Hawaii, where they also celebrated their honeymoon years ago, the SUR Restaurant employee and her musician husband went their separate ways amid allegations of a possible drug relapse. In November, rumors began swirling in regard to Shay's potential drug use, but on Instagram, he insisted that he was still sober and not missing, as some reports had claimed.
Scheana Marie and Mike Shay remain estranged
Since announcing the end of their marriage in early December, the reality stars have seemed to keep their distance from one another. As Scheana Marie continues to spend time with her co-stars, including Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney, Shay is focused on his career in music, and recently made a number of appearances.
That said, their relationship continues to be a hot topic for fans online, and Stassi Schroeder recently weighed in on their split.
After sharing a link to a post about Shay being at home in Michigan, Schroeder told fans that it was Scheana who footed the bill for Shay's trip. In response, Shay stayed silent while his estranged wife weighed in and confirmed that she was a very generous person.
