The claws are out and precisely sharpened. Will the tea spilling ever end? Kandi Burruss is not taking Phaedra Parks’ claims of her having sexual romps with Shamea Morton lying down (no pun intended). The “No Scrubs” songwriter quickly took to her Bravo “Real Housewives of Atlanta” blog to let the world know what she thinks about fellow peaches Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams.
Ever since Parks brought in the New Year with an explosive whisper that sexual shenanigans were going on between Kandi Burrus, husband Todd Tucker and friend Shamea Morton, fans have been on high alert. Mama Joyce can’t be happy either.
You can’t always coat crap with sprinkles and call it kandi
Kandi Burruss addressed the issue when asked what went through her mind after viewing the ballyhooed scene. Burruss stated that she cracked up at Phaedra Parks’ BS, pointing out that her former friend has been doing exactly what she has been saying all along – that Parks talks about her behind her back.
Burruss admitted that she should have kept the private conversations between the two of them private, but her statements were still true. Burruss refers to Parks’ stories about her relationship with Shamea Morton as made-up and “reaching.” The former Xscape singer had a few words for Porsha Williams as well. She called Williams hypocritical and dubbed her as being Phaedra’s puppet, comparing the two to Gippetto and Pinnochio. Burruss also said she was surprised by Williams’ “playing dumb” act.
That’s what friends are for
Interestingly, Shamea Morton’s answer to it all was that Porsha Williams broke the girl code. Nevertheless, one has to question at what price is true friendship paid? Meanwhile, it appears Phaedra Parks is not quite done either.
When asked if she was surprised by Burruss speaking on their previous dinner conversation, Parks replied she was not surprised by anything and that it was status quo for Burruss to not own up to her part in a situation. Parks also accused her of deflecting on others under the guise of keeping it real. When asked her thoughts on Shamea’s accusations that she flirted with her ex-husband, Parks stated that people search for significance. Some work hard to achieve goals while those who are thirsty tell lies in order to fit into a conversation. Such is life on Reality TV.
