It's a party of five. Pharrell Williams has taken his kid count from 1 to 4 with just one pregnancy. On January 31, the "Happy" singer's rep confirmed the exciting news of the arrival of his triplets to Vanity Fair magazine. While the rep failed to reveal any of the children's names or genders, they confirmed that the babies, who arrived earlier this month, were "healthy and happy." The children join older brother Rocket, who is 8-years-old.
In addition to the addition of his triplets, Williams has been quite busy with his career. Just last month, the singer and producer walked in Karl Lagerfeld’s fashion show for Chanel before he was announced as the very first male model to star in one of the brand's handbag campaigns.
In the upcoming ads, Williams will be joined by model and actress Cara Delevingne and actress Kristen Stewart. Williams has also been nominated for an Academy Award for his producing credit with "Hidden Figures."
Pharrell Williams won't be seen on 'The Voice' season 12
With three babies at home, in addition to his older son, Pharrell Williams could use some time off and luckily, he'll get it. Although he appeared on the NBC singing competition from season seven until season 10, he won't be featured during season 12 and wasn't seen at all during last year's fall season. At that time, the series welcomed its first-ever two female panel, which featured Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys.
During his stint on "The Voice," Williams grew close to his co-stars, especially Stefani, who also joined the show during season 7.
Not only did the two stars bond on set, but they've also worked together on music off-set. And while he won't be rejoining his co-star and friend during her season 12 return, his own return to the series is certainly possible as executives have made a habit of alternating their stars quite a bit.
For now, Pharrell Williams will likely be enjoying his time away from the show as he continues to focus on his family, which has grown substantially in recent weeks.
