Hey, "The Affair" fans. We got a couple of brand new spoiler teasers for the upcoming episode 8 of the current season 3 by way of Showtime via TV Guide. They gave us three storyline scoops that sound really intriguing and shocking as Alison encounters a very surprising event that causes her to rethink things. Things reach a breaking point with Cole's frustrations with Alison, and more!
The big moment
It turns out that they don't really give these episodes a title like many other shows do, so I guess this one is just titled episode 8. In the official plotline reveal, we learn that we're going to see Alison feeling quite happy, at first, when a surprising event takes place.
Unfortunately, they didn't go into great detail about what this event is. Heck, they didn't go into detail at all. However, they did go on to mention that it's going to make her come to a, what they are calling: a sobering realization, so that sounds pretty intriguing.
Wild options come to mind for her
Next, we learn that shortly after Alison has this eureka moment, she is going to get a warning delivered to her that will be quite shocking in nature. So much, in fact, that it's going to cause her to start considering options that could be considered just as startling, if not more startling! What could this be? Of course, they don't mention it, because they want you to tune in for that. It will be very interesting to find out, though.
The breaking point gets reached
Finally, we have this one, last storyline scoop that brings Cole into play. It turns out that he's just going to be completely frustrated with trying to deal with Alison. It's going to be so bad that their situation is going to reach a breaking point or come to a head. If that weren't enough, they say another extreme truth is going to come to light.
Would could this big reveal be, and how will they react to it? These are two big questions that they have left unanswered, so that we'll all tune in to find it out.
