"Days Of Our Lives" viewers are used to seeing characters be shuffled in and out of fictional Salem. Fans have even grown accustomed to seeing characters return from the dead. However, one character whom fans thought would never return to the soap may be popping up again in the near future. According to Soap Hub, the character of Nick Fallon may be getting ready to make a dramatic return to "DOOL."
Is Blake Berris headed back to Salem?
The report claims that actor Blake Berris, who played Nick Fallon on the NBC daytime soap opera, recently hinted about a possible return to Salem.
Earlier this week, Berris tweeted that he had a "surprise" for daytime fans, and then added the winking emoji to his post. Could this mean that Nick Fallon will return after all? As many "Days of Our Lives" viewers will remember, Nick was shot and killed by his former wife Gabi Hernandez after he had threatened Sonny Kiriakis. The murder mystery was a huge storyline on the soap back in 2014, but Gabi eventually confessed to killing Nick. The murder confession sent Gabi to prison for a while as the father of her daughter, Will Horton, raised their daughter with his husband, Sonny. Eventually, Will was murdered by Ben Weston, the necktie killer, and Gabi was released from jail for good behavior.
Gabi returned to Salem only to start up a romance with JJ Deveraux. However, she currently has feelings for Chad DiMera.
Another 'DOOL' character returning from the dead?
The report reveals that Nick's return to "Days of Our Lives" would be pretty crazy, but not unexpected. Many former "DOOL" characters have risen from the dead, some more than others.
Popular characters such as Roman Brady, John Black, Stefano DiMera, Hope Brady, Marlena Evans, Jack Deveraux, and many more have all returned to Salem after being presumed dead. However, Blake Berris' tweet could also mean that Nick will return for a cameo in a vision or a dream that Gabi has, or possibly on an entirely different soap opera. Meanwhile, fans will be keeping their eyes peeled for a Nick Fallon sighting!
