You can’t keep a good corpse down on MTV’s “Teen Wolf.” The residents of Beacon Hills enjoy a rather fluid relationship with the afterlife, a trick that has kept several of the series’ big bads in rotation. As the final season continues, it looks like “Teen Wolf” will resurrect a familiar face. Oft-mentioned but rarely seen, Mrs. Stilinski is back in the picture as per IMDB.

How will Stiles’ mom return to ‘Teen Wolf’?

Played by Joey Honsa, Claudia Stilinski died prior to the “Teen Wolf” series premiere. Stiles’ interaction with the Dread Doctors heralded Honsa’s debut in “Required Reading,” exposing Mama Stilinski’s battle with frontotemporal dementia.

Now, viewers are wondering how the character will fit into season 6.

Did the Ghost Riders’ decision to remove Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) from the equation inadvertently keep his mother from an early grave? Considering Stiles’ existence had absolutely nothing to do with his mother’s demise, it seems we will have to search for answers elsewhere.

Stiles wasn't the cause of his mother's death. Just because he's gone doesn't mean everything has been undone,” writer Will Wallace cautioned on Twitter.

What could change, however, is how Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) handled the loss.

Agent McCall (Matthew del Negro) exposed the cop’s darker days back in season 3, and there is always an outside chance Stiles’ absence could push his father over the edge. Is he relishing old memories? Living out grief-stricken delusions? Or is Claudia really alive? It appears fans could find out in “Superposition.”

Where is ‘Teen Wolf’s Stiles?

As we suss out “Teen Wolf”’s new reality, Stiles will be busy fighting to get back to the life he knew.

Luckily, Lydia (Holland Roden) is working on an answer from the flip side of what we can only call Beacon Hill’s iteration of the Upside Down.

“They have a very special relationship,” series creator Jeff Davis told Screener. “They’ve saved each other’s lives several times. We’ve explored Scott’s great friendship with Stiles, and we wanted to go through a different perspective this time.”
