Adrienne Bailon has married Israel Houghton, and they are very happy. The host of "The Real" often talked about how much she wanted to get married, and now her dream has come true. Over the last few months, she has sprinkled ideas about her upcoming wedding. In an interview with People magazine, she expressed how happy and at peace she is. She said she has never felt this happy before.
Bailon-Houghton wedding
Adrienne Bailon married Israel Houghton in a lavish ceremony on Friday, November 11. The happy couple was surrounding by about 70 close family members and friends at the Hotel Plaza Athénéel in Paris.
Vows were exchanged around 7 p.m. at the luxury hotel. A day before, they celebrated with a rehearsal dinner at Ferdi where the newlyweds met about ten years ago. Houghton proposed to Bailon with an 8-carat diamond ring in front of the Eiffel Tower last August. Adrienne said on the long flight back to Los Angeles, she planned her wedding. Last month Adrienne had a Paris-themed bridal shower.
The wedding was an intimate one because Adrienne said she wanted to have people there to have fun and she and Israel didn't want to perform for anyone. Of course, Adrienne's co-hosts from "The Real" were in attendance. Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley shared in the excitement. They will probably be discussing the wedding on their talk show for a long time.
Now Loni Love is the only one of the co-hosts who isn't married. Loni says she is happily single.
Adrienne and Israel
This is the first marriage for Adrienne. The 33-year old was engaged to music executive Lenny Santiago, but they split last September. Adrienne dated Rob Kardashian for two years until they split in 2009. It is interesting that Rob and Blac Chyna welcomed a daughter named Dream on the same day Adrienne got married.
This is the second marriage for Israel Houghton who was married for 20 years and has four children. Before they got married on Friday, the 45-year-old gospel singer and the former Cheetah Girl lived in the same apartment building. He lived on the second floor, and she lived on the fourth floor. It is unknown whether they will move to a bigger apartment, if she will move down to his apartment, or if he will move up to her apartment.
