Janatha Garage, the Koratala Siva directorial hit the screens on September 01, 2016, and from then, it has been creating massive storms at the Indian box-office. According to the latest updates, the film has collected Rs 115 Crores from theaters all around the world.
It has reportedly earned a total share of 50 Crores for the global distributor within five days, and this is the second fastest Tollywood record after Rajamouli's mega budget outing Baahubali: The Conclusion.
Mammoth pre-release hype
As we all know, Janatha Garage is such a movie which is being loaded with an impeccable star cast which includes Mollywood actor Mohanlal, Jr.
NTR and Samantha Prabhu. Due to the presence of such big names, the film succeeded in creating massive pre-release hype in the minds of the audiences.
The promotion works of this feature have also been done in a fully fledged manner by the makers, and it added up the overall expectations which surrounded this flick.
Audience response:
The opening day witnessed 100% attendance in almost all released centers, and it clearly indicated the star power of two big names; Jr NTR and Mohanalal. Credible sources state that this picture has collected 41 Crore gross by the end of the first weekend.

The collection witnessed a slight drop on the second day, but from the third, the movie reached the top gear and started amassing good earnings from the screens.
In its course, the film broke the collection records created by films which include, Srimanthudu and Sarrainodu.

This movie is completely loaded with mass elements, and the filmmaker has explored the best from The Complete Actor Mohanlal and Jr NTR.
Sathyam is a mechanic who runs a garage, and soon he stands up with the society against all the odds. Slowly, he emerges as a parallel Government, but his son falls in the clutches of the evil. At this juncture comes his nephew who has the heart of gold. From then, what we witness is the real clash between the good and the evil.
