Have you seen Josh Peck of Nickelodeon's "Drake and Josh" recently? Then you need to do yourself a favor. The chubby child star's weight loss reveals one hot dude under the baby fat. Peck (now all grown-up), celebrated a birthday with "Grandfathered" co-star John Stamos recently. From a serious case of childhood obesity, Josh Peck now looks like the younger version of the smoking-hot Stamos that he plays on the show.
Interestingly, Peck achieved his extraordinary weight loss using very ordinary methods.
Josh Peck loses baby fat, finds sexy
Peck played opposite Drake Bell as his very dissimilar step-brother. Bell, the out-going popular cute one contrasted to shy, overweight awkward Josh. Drake was "Jeff" to Peck's "Mutt" so to speak. But what made Peck so endearing was his chubby baby fat. A lot of people can relate to fat adolescents who develop into slender adults. Puberty has a lot to answer for and what looks like childhood obesity may really be just baby fat. Sometimes getting thin requires no more complicated weight loss plan than just growing up.
Now in their 30s, Peck and Bell are evenly matched with Peck being every bit as hot as Bell.
Extraordinary weight loss in ordinary ways
Some lucky kids can drink Mountain Dew and lay in bed all summer and still drop weight. When puberty is ready to release baby fat, it does regardless of lifestyle. But having said that, "can do" is not always "should do." Further, this is not the case for most people. When asked about weight loss, the former child star said that he ate differently, got healthier and exercised more. This worked for Chris Pratt too. Simple, ordinary common sense, right? Well, no not really. It's simple to say diet and exercise but much harder to do. And common sense is actually pretty uncommon judging by the fact that two-thirds of Americans are overweight and 34 percent are morbidly obese. But happily obesity is reversible like Shonda Rhimes, Queen Latifah, and a host of other once obese celebrities have shown.
