The wait is finally over, as Ilayathalapathy Vijay's much anticipated Indian Tamil movie "Theri" has hit the theaters in India and across the world on April 14, 2016.

The film which created massive pre-release hype before its release has fetched mammoth response from the audiences on the first day.

"Theri" is directed by Atlee, who made his entry in to Kollywood through his blockbuster "Raja Rani".
