After Rudy Giuliani revealed that Donald Trump repaid Michael Cohen for the "hush money" payment made to Stormy Daniels, the news quickly became headlines for contradicting the president's previous claim. Despite the apparent misstep, Trump is standing by his new lawyer.

Trump on Giuliani
Earlier this week on the Fox News Channel, former New York City Mayor and current lawyer for Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani sat down with Sean Hannity.
During the interview, Giuliani explained that the president had repaid the $130,000 payment made to Stormy Daniels by Michael Cohen, despite Trump previously claiming he knew nothing about it. Since then, Giuliani has attempted to walk back his statement, noting that Trump made the repayment, but wasn't sure what it was for. In the last 48 hours, the Daniels affair allegations have continued to dominate the headlines, putting even more pressure on the White House to explain themselves.
Pres. Trump says he "would love to speak" with Robert Mueller as long as he could get assurances he would be "treated fairly."

As reported by ABC News on May 4, Donald Trump was pressed on the issue outside the White House on Friday and decided to come to the defense of Rudy Giuliani.
"He is a great guy. He knows it's a witch hunt," Trump said, before adding, "He's seen a lot of them." "He (Giuliani) will get his facts straight," Trump went on to say, while noting, "But what he does is he feels it's a very bad thing for our country." Not stopping there, after being asked whether or not he would sit down for an interview with Russian investigation special counsel Robert Mueller, Trump replied, "If I thought it was fair, I would override my lawyers."

Seems to me that he has his facts straight. He just hasn’t been taught how to do the WH lie yet.
