When Donald Trump picked former head of ExxonMobil Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State, many quickly questioned the decision.
Tillerson joining the administration was just one of many curious choices as his lack of experience left many scratching their heads. Since then, Tillerson's relationship with Trump has not been strong, with reports circulating last year of tension between the two, especially over issues dealing with Russia and North Korea. On Tuesday morning, the Washington Post broke the bombshell story that Tillerson was out as Secretary of State, finally ending the animosity between them.

In a tweet on March 13, Donald Trump confirmed the Washington Post report in his latest social media rant, while announcing Rex Tillerson's replacement.
"Mike Pompeo, Director of the CIA, will become our new Secretary of State," Trump tweeted, while adding, "He will do a fantastic job! Thank you to Rex Tillerson for his service!" "Gina Haspel will become the new Director of the CIA, and the first woman so chosen. Congratulations to all!," Trump concluded. Within minutes of the news, critics of the president made sure to lash out on social media.
