Hillary Clinton turned 70 years old on Thursday, October 26. She received a lot of birthday greetings on social media from family, friends, and fans around the country. All of them wished her well and were very friendly except a negative tweet stood out among the others. That one was from someone who called her ignorant. It was not from President Donald Trump. However, the apple didn't fall far from the tree because the negative birthday greeting came from Trump's oldest son, Donald Trump Jr.

Negative birthday greetings

Not only did he post one negative greeting on Twitter, but he posted two tweets just minutes apart to make sure she knew how much he thought about her and her turning 70 years old.

After sending the first one where he called her ignorant for thinking she could win the 2016 Presidential Election, he retweeted another one from last year with the caption, "Happy birthday to this future president." The oldest son of the president wrote a new caption that said it wasn't meant to happen.

Many people sounded off about the two posts. They thought they were mean and unnecessary. At one time, people respected older people, but that wasn't the case with him. Also, usually people are kind to others on their birthday. It would have been better if he had said nothing at all.

Clinton's birthday wishes

The former secretary of state, first lady, and Democratic candidate for President of the United States spent some time with her husband, daughter, and two grandchildren earlier in the day.

Former President Bill Clinton, her husband of 42 years, acknowledged her birthday by sending her a tweet that said, "70 has never looked so beautiful." The birthday girl received some very cheerful and encouraging birthday greetings from people such as civil rights icon John Lewis, Tom Dangora, Ziad Ahmed, and many others.

Clinton seemed to have been in good spirits when she was photographed visiting her daughter Chelsea.

She was using crutches because she broke her toe after falling in London earlier this month when she was there to promote her book, "What Happened?"

She wasn't using crutches later when she received an award and gave a speech about female equality in America at a Wonder Woman awards event, according to the Daily Mail. The award was the first of its kind presented by the Women's Media Center.

During the ceremony, 79-year-old iconic actress Jane Fonda sang "Happy Birthday" to her.

Hillary Clinton shares her birthday with other Celebrities such as actress Jaclyn Smith, "Wheel of Fortune" host Pat Sajak, Keith Urban, Seth MacFarlane, Rita Wilson, Jon Heder, Anthony Rapp, and Sasha Cohen.
