Meizu officially launched its next Flagship yesterday. These are the Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 plus Android devices. Before we get into the bells and whistles of the phone, the standout feature of the flagship is the second AMOLED Display on the back panel of the device.
Rear display
The biggest feature of the pro lineup is the secondary display measuring 1.9 inches on both of the phones, and being positioned on the rear it’s a whole new takedown on dual display technology.
Mostly, the dual display is quite helpful in daily usage as most people have a habit of putting phones on the table upside down so it will easy for to tap out calls and messages without lifting the phones.
What can the display be used for?
Let’s focus on the unique feature - the second display on the back of the device. It is a touch enabled AMOLED display which can be used for different purposes. You can see and manage notifications, wheather and time, control your music or else you can use it as a view finder for the selfie with the rear camera. Press the power button for a while and music player will be open in the back display.
Beyond the secondary display
The Meizu flagship devices comes with 5.2 inch super AMOLED panel for pro7 and 5.7 inch QHD panel for pro7 plus. The devices come with a new debut of Mediatek’s flagship chipset the Helio P25 combined with Mali-T880, 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage for pro7 and the Helio X30 10-core design combines with IMG 7XTP-MP4, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for pro7 plus.
The pro7 boosts almost all of the specs up a bit, The pro7 has a 3000mAh battery while the pro7 plus offers a larger 3500mAh battery. The pro version carries an mCharge fast charging battery which can charge upto 50 percent in 20 minutes.
Dual rear camera
On the camera side both the devices have dual lens features at the back RGB and a Monochrome 12MP IMX386 Sony sensor, as well as 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
The secondary display on the back panel can be used for capturing selfies using the rear camera ostensibly for a higher quality pic than the front facing camera.
The phone is quite an impressive one and after a long time, the company has shown some new innovation in the android device.The Meizu pro7 and pro7 plus both run on latest android 7.0 with Fly Os platform.

Meizu pro7 with Helio P25 processor is priced at CNY2800 (Approx. $416), The other phone in the lineup - the pro7 plus with Helio X30 processor is priced at CNY3580 (Approx. $532). The phone is expected to go on sale globally in September, CNet reported.
