Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus smartphones have been officially Launched in Silver, Gold, Black, and Red color variants. The newly launched devices will be available from August 5 in China. The main attraction of the handset is the integration of a 1.9-inch secondary Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 307PPI.

Moreover, the display shows information related to weather, notifications, time, music, movies and much more. It is also possible to make use of the secondary display for capturing selfies using the camera located on the rear.

Two processor variants

Talking about the specifications, the 7'th edition of the Meizu Pro will be equipped with a 5.2-inch FHD Super AMOLED FHD display, 4GB RAM coupled with both 64GB and 128GB internal storage. The handset will be available in both Helio P25 and Helio X30 processor variants. While the Helio P25 is equipped with a Mali-T880 graphics processor, the model with X30 chipset will have PowerVR 7XTP-MP4 graphics.

Powered by a 3000mAh battery with mCharge 4.0 technology, the both variants of Meizu Pro are loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat based on Flyme OS 6 platform. With a weight of 163 grams, the phone measures 7.3mm in thickness.

Addition of mCharge technology

Meanwhile, the latest Meizu Pro Plus features a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a massive resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, Helio X30 processor, 6GB RAM alongside both 64GB and 128GB internal storage.

While the Pro edition is embedded with a 3000mAh battery, the Pro version carries a 3500mAh mCharge fast charging battery to provide an enhanced backup. In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Meizu Pro 7 Plus provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual-SIM and USB Type-C port.

Integration of dual rear cameras

The camera infused with the Meizu Pro 7 series offers dual 12MP Sony IMX386 sensors alongside f/2.0 aperture with support for dual-tone LED flash and PDAF.

The sensors consist of one RGB and monochrome sensors, which helps you to capture black and white images. The phone incorporates a 16MP snapper on the front for capturing brilliant selfies and video calling activities.

Regarding pricing, the Meizu Pro 7 with Helio P25 processor alongside 4GB RAM is priced at CNY 2800 ($416), the model with Helio X30 processor, 4GB RAM, and 129GB storage will cost CNY 3380 ($502). The Pro 7 Plus, meanwhile, will cost CNY 3580 ($532) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage version. The 128GB storage model will hit the retail shelves for CNY 4080, which equates to $606.
