More people continue to question the mental health of U.S. President Donald Trump after he tweeted sexist remarks about “Morning Joe” host Mika Brzezinski and the fake CNN wrestling video. A new survey found that it is actually CNN that slammed the billionaire when it comes to trust ratings from the public.

Time reported on Tuesday that a new poll conducted by Survey Monkey found Cable News Network has a higher trust rating than Trump. About 50 percent of adults covered by the survey trust CNN versus only 43 percent who trust the president.

Partisan replies

The trust rating skewed when party affiliation is concerned. Naturally, among GOP members, 89 percent had more trust in the real estate billionaire than in CNN which got a 9 percent trust rating. Among Democrats, CNN enjoyed a higher 91 percent trust rating than the 5 percent who trust Trump more.

Among independents, CNN still got the higher trust rating of 55 percent against Trump’s 40 percent. When Trump’s trust rating was compared to other media, The Washington Post/New York Times got higher trust rating than the president by 9 percent. Against ABC/CBS/NBC, the difference was even higher at 11 percent in favor of the three broadcast networks, Axios reported.

Twitter results

The online poll, conducted between June 29 and July 3, with close to 5,000 adult respondents, gave a good feedback on what people think about Trump’s tweeting habits.

On the average, 64 percent of all adults disapproved the use by @POTUS of Twitter, 89 percent of Democrats and a relatively high of 38 percent among Republicans.

When the respondents were asked to describe Trump’s tweets, 47 percent said it was not dignified. Another 34 percent described it as mean, 26 percent consider his Twitter posts entertaining, and only a mere 7 percent find it presidential.

Among GOP members, however, they find Trump’s tweets truthful and entertaining. Among independents, Trump’s tweets are undignified, mean, and dishonest.

After a lot of comments from both political parties and ordinary citizens, it seems Trump finally toned down a bit on the mean tweets. His last mean tweet was directed at North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

His last two tweets using the handle @realDonaldTrump about gas prices and 4th of July celebrations were more on a positive note.

It seems he is telling the truth insofar as the gas prices are concerned since the average national price for a gallon of gas is $2.23 per gallon, according to AAA, the Washington Examiner reported. The big crowd at the White House, however, remains to be proven correct based on dubious crowd numbers Trump gave for his inauguration compared to Barack Obama’s inauguration crowd.
