Comments continue to pour in on social media sites over President Donald trump’s sexist tweet against MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski. A lot of politicians and ordinary Americans find the president’s Twitter behavior beneath the dignity of his office. It has led to a growing bipartisan call for the platform to ban him permanently.

Negative reactions from Democrats and mainstream media are expected. Mashable, however, reported that even Fox News, a pro-Trump network, has condemned the president’s action. Ronna Romney McDaniel defended Trump’s tweets against Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough by saying the president merely was responding to the insults of the MSNBC hosts.

Scolding a 4-year-old

Fox anchor Julie Banderas told McDaniel that Trump does not need to stoop to the level of the “Morning Joe” hosts. Banderas compared the situation to her scolding her four-year-old for cussing and then repeating the bad word. “That’s just not how you run a country or you parent a four-year-old,” Banderas said.

The Fox anchor then pointed to Trump’s predecessor, President Barack Obama, as a good example of how a president should respond to criticisms. Banderas noted Obama was called a Muslim, stupid, under-qualified, a sellout to America, and a hater of Israel. Obama, even if he was called every name in the book, did not lash out at his critics, Banderas told McDaniel.

Banderas is not the only Fox host to lash out at Trump.

Meghan McCain, the host of “Outnumbered” on Fox News and the daughter of Sen. John McCain, pointed out it was wrong for the president to refer to Mika’s alleged botched facelift. McCain stressed that women are entitled to undergo cosmetic surgery. “I don’t give a hoot if she has or hasn’t, but bringing it up in a way to sort of try and diminish her and humiliate her publicly makes everyone across the country look bad.”

Obama’s photographer shows contrast

Pete Souza, the former photographer of Obama, did not need to add to the negative comments on Trump’s Twitter behavior.

He instead trolled the current Oval Office occupant by posting photos of Obama how the former president respected women.

The Washington Post noted that this is not the first time Souza trolled Trump by showing the contrast of the behavior of the two presidents toward women.

After Melania Trump swatted Donald’s hand in Tel Aviv, he posted a photo of Michelle Obama holding Barack’s hand while they listened to a speech in Selma Alabama. The caption “holding hands” said it all.
