Omarosa, whose real name is Omarosa Manigault, was married at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. in a lavish morning Wedding ceremony on Saturday, April 8, 2017. The former reality star goes by only one name, but now she is Mrs. John Allen Newman.
She and her pastor husband's wedding ceremony was followed by a brunch and reception with their 70 to 100 guests. Omarosa works for President Donald Trump, but he did not attend the wedding in his own hotel because he was at his Mar-A-Lago club in Florida. According to social media, several government officials attended the morning nuptials, including Kellyanne Conway.
About the wedding
According to Politico, the wedding comes a couple of weeks after it was rescheduled because the bride had received death threats. It was originally scheduled for March 25 in Jacksonville, Florida. Not only was the date changed, but the location was also changed.
Some people might have seen the bride on a recent episode of TLC's wedding show "Say Yes to the Dress." By being there, she accumulated about $25,000 worth of merchandise for her wedding.
According to tweets that showed up on Twitter last Wednesday, Omarosa's co-workers at the White House gave her a bridal party last Tuesday night. Since the wedding, friends and family have been sharing photos and videos from today’s wedding on social media.
The bride and groom looked very happy.

The former reality star's first husband was Aaron Stallworth. She was engaged to actor Michael Clarke Duncan until he died in 2012.
It is interesting that TV Guide included her in their 2013 list of The 60 Nastiest TV Villains of All Time. Four years later, she married a pastor. Omarosa has been an ordained minister since February 27, 2012.
The connection
Omarosa worked for President Donald Trump during his presidential campaign as his Director of Communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison. She is now a senior political aide in his administration. They got to know each other when Omarosa appeared on both "The Apprentice" and "The Celebrity Apprentice." She was a contestant and the president was the host.
