Amanda Knox may have been finally acquitted in the death of Meredith Kercher, but one man isn't going to let her transition quietly into the life of an "innocent" woman. Rudy Guede says that the formerly-accused killer was in fact at the scene of the violent murder that rocked international headlines in 2007. Even though she has since-been acquitted, a mountain of evidence has always indicated that she and Raffaele Sollecito were present when the British student was slaughtered.

So is Rudy Guede telling the truth about what happened, or is he simply trying to get out of prison, since his former co-defendants have been given back their freedom?

Guede says that he is "101% sure" that Amanda Knox was at the apartment the night Meredith Kercher was killed. He said in an interview that he was in the bathroom for about 10 or 11 minutes "after eating a spicy kebab" when he heard Knox come home and then get into an argument with her British flatmate. During the course of the argument, Guede says that he heard someone scream -- presumably Kercher. When Guede emerged from the bathroom (forgetting to flush the toilet), he saw Amanda Knox leaving the home with a man, who he did not identify.

It's been long-alleged that Knox's then-lover Raffaele Sollecito participated in the murder of Meredith Kercher.

Guede said in the interview that he found Kercher in her bedroom, bleeding heavily from a stab-wound in her neck. Guede says that he tried to write on the wall with her blood as she tried to speak to him in the last moments of her life. He said that he "wrote in blood on the wall to understand," the woman, who was "trying to tell him something."

Three were convicted

Rudy Guede was convicted in the slaying of Meredith Kercher after his DNA was found at the crime scene, along with footprints which indicated his presence at the time of her death. Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito were also convicted on similar evidence, including Knox's own bizarre behavior and dishonesty.

However, Knox and Sollecito were ultimately exonerated in a turn of events that have many people believing that both of them got away with murder.

Do you think Amanda Knox got away with the murder of Meredith Kercher?
