The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are believed to be in Frogmore Cottage and there is no news about their baby. The royal couple have already said that they will announce the arrival of their baby at an appropriate time, hence fans have to be patient. Anyway, Prince Harry’s visit to the Netherlands next week has tongues wagging. It is a 9 May event and it has been in his diary because The Hague would host the 2020 Invictus Games. It is a Paralympic-style sports event Prince Harry founded to encourage wounded military personnel and he wants to be part of the launch.

Sky News reports Prince Harry’s trip is scheduled for next week as revealed by Buckingham Palace. Right now, he and Meghan are expecting their first child and it is possible that the father would like to see his baby before he goes to the Netherlands. It all points to the fact that the arrival of their baby is imminent and Harry would like to spend some time with Meghan and the newborn before getting back to royal duties.

The suspense is unbearable

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married in May 2018 and at the start their first major overseas tour of Australia and New Zealand in October they announced that they were expecting their first child in spring this year.

Subsequently, during a visit to Birkenhead in January, the Duchess of Sussex confided to a group of women during a walkabout that the baby was due in April or May. Now, it is May and the good news could be announced any moment –only, the royal couple wants to avoid others from encroaching into their private space and hence wants to keep the birth as private as possible.

Of course, the palace could announce some developments until such time the baby is born.

Sky News goes on to add that Prince Harry will have to attend an official engagement in Amsterdam and then travel to The Hague in connection with the Invictus Games 2020.

This annual event is his creation and it was via the games in 2017 in Toronto that Meghan Markle appeared in public for the first time. However, his travel plans remain tentative and could undergo modification depending on Meghan and the baby.

Speculation is rife

According to Harpers Bazaar, the forthcoming visit of the Duke of Sussex to the Netherlands next week (May 8-9) to attend official engagements have let loose speculations about Meghan and her baby. One line of thinking is the baby is already here and its parents “are enjoying the first few days as parents privately.”

This would be in keeping with the decision of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to keep their plans for the baby's birth private.

They will share the news only after they have celebrated the occasion as a family. However, everything is shrouded in mystery and their fans will have to wait for some more time to know the actual picture and join in the celebrations to welcome Baby Sussex.
