The study was conducted at the University Of California, where it was stated that "consumption of moderate amounts of alcohol and coffee is linked to living a longer life." However, this means only a couple of glasses of wine or a couple cans of beer, nothing more. The article states that the daily use of beer or wine can help people live past 90 years old.
Unfortunately, people abuse alcohol and doing that, in turn, ruins an individuals life.
Only moderate consumption is good for a person. The study gives the underlying benefits of drinking beer or wine per day. It says, "The research found that subjects who drank two glasses of beer or wine every day decreased their chances at a premature death by 18 percent, and those who drank two cups of coffee a day decreased their chances by 10 percent." So either beer or wine or coffee works to give an individual less of a chance of death.
Another drink helps too
The study also found that regular coffee consumption is key to living a long life too. And it is well known that many people across the world drink coffee. Tea is also popular and some individuals prefer tea over coffee. Coffee is used to wake up in the mornings, but it is also good for a person's health.
It equally has been found to help prevent some types of cancer from occurring.
