United Parcel Service, commonly referred to as UPS, and iconic singer Taylor Swift have made a deal. The world's largest package delivery service has agreed to put Swift's album cover on the side of some of its trucks.

The deal was made to celebrate and advertise the singer's upcoming "Reputation" album. The single, "Look What You Made Me Do" was released on August 24, 2017. In the first 24 hours, the music video was viewed on YouTube over 43 million times and broke the record for that time period. The song was at the top of the charts in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

The announcement

Ups announced on Friday, September 1 that the company is teaming up with the star and will be her official delivery partner for her sixth album when it is released on November 10. People can pre-order the album now and have it delivered by UPS as soon as it becomes available. This is the first time in the history of the 110-year-old delivery company that something has been on the side of the trucks other than its own logo.

Known for the brown trucks and uniforms, UPS delivers over 15 million packages every day. On an average, the company has nearly 8 million customers in the United States and in over 220 other countries and territories. However, Swift's album cover will not be on all of the vehicles.

It will be on only a select fleet of the brown trucks.

Fans of the popular singer are encouraged to take a photo of the vehicle when they see it and post it online with #TaylorSwiftDelivery for a chance to win concert tickets and other prizes. UPS is excited about the partnership with the singer and has posted on social media a picture of what to look for.

The shipping company has also notified fans in certain cities that the trucks are there. So far, they are in Nashville, Atlanta, New York, Miami, Seattle, and Pittsburgh. More cities will be added in the days to come. Watch for the trucks that might come through your neighborhood soon.

Other partnerships

Swift has other partnerships with many well-established companies. The 27-year-old songwriter has partnered with Apple, Diet Coke, American Greetings Corporation, Verizon, Walmart, Walgreens, Target, Cover Girl, Elizabeth Arden, and Keds. Every time she releases a new album, she gets more partners. Either she seeks them or they contact her. Nevertheless, it turns out to be a successful partnership for both parties. The shipping company is expecting to enjoy a profitable relationship with Swift as well.
