Kanye West will be presenting the latest collection from his brand Yeezy at Paris Fashion Week, Vanity Fair reported. The music icon will join other international designers and high-end fashion houses presenting their latest styles in the biannual event.

The 40-year-old artist teased fans to the sixth season of Yeezy through a photo of an invitation. West wrote a simple caption to the teaser that read, “Season 6.”

Yeezy is a casual fashion brand that the rapper personally owns. It sells fashion pieces such as footwear, caps, hoodies, sweaters, and shirts.

The brand and the clothes carry his image of being sophisticated yet simple, as seen on the official website.

The brand also offers shoes for both men and women, as well as jewelry accessories similar to those the rapper has worn. West also has an official collaboration with Adidas with the Yeezy sneakers characterized as footwear embedded with prints.

Pushing through

Kanye West was supposed to present his latest collection at New York Fashion Week. Earlier reports revealed that “there will be a showroom for the Season 6 collection, just not during NYFW,” Business of Fashion and Vanity Fair said.

His wife, Kim Kardashian will not be attending his show at Paris Fashion Week, US Weekly reported.

Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her hotel room in the French capital during the first week of October 2016.

She was gagged by thieves who took her jewelry that was more than $10 million. Suspects were arrested in January of this year, charging around 10 people connected to the incident, the entertainment website added.

West’s shows have been previously attended by Kim, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner.

Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian will be the one to attend his show and represent his wife.

Paris fashion shows

After the success of New York and Milan Fashion Week, it is time for Paris to show its latest styles in a set of events happening in the French capital. The previous fashion week events showcased Italian brands, young designers, Asian artists and fashion brands in various shows attended by Hollywood celebrities and industry icons.

Major brands such as Saint Laurent, Lacoste, Balmain, Givenchy, Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton are expected to grace the runways. Top designers such as Christian Dior, Nina Ricci, Elie Saab and Alexander McQueen are also set to present their collection during the runway event. Paris Fashion Week runs from September 25 to October 3.
